Atlas Creator Terms
Effective date: October 13, 2026
Welcome to Atlas! These Terms govern your use of Atlas and your participation in brand content programs.
By signing up, you agree to these Terms.
1. What is Atlas?
Atlas helps people collaborate with brands, create content, grow their visibility, track performance, and get paid.
As a Creator, you can:
- Apply to programs or get invited by brands.
- Create, review, approve, and publish content.
- Have your posts amplified through LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads.
- Track your content performance.
- Receive payments for paid collaborations.
"Creator" includes independent creators, employees, customers, partners, and anyone participating in content programs through Atlas.
2. Joining Programs
You can join programs by applying or accepting a brand invitation.
Each program may specify its deliverables, deadlines, content requirements, compensation (if any), and usage rights.
Programs can be paid or unpaid. Any compensation will be clearly communicated before you accept.
By accepting a program, you agree to its specific conditions. This forms a binding collaboration agreement without requiring a separate contract, unless otherwise specified.
You are free to decline any program.
3. Connecting Your LinkedIn
Connecting your LinkedIn account is strongly recommended to get the full Atlas experience.
It allows Atlas to:
- Verify your LinkedIn profile.
- Simplify content creation, approval, scheduling, and publishing.
- Automatically track impressions, engagement, and other performance metrics.
- Enable eligible posts to be promoted through LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads.
- Verify deliverables and facilitate payments.
Some programs and features may require a connected LinkedIn account.
By connecting, you authorize Atlas to perform the actions needed for the features and workflows you enable, including publishing approved posts and retrieving their performance data.
Your LinkedIn account stays yours. Atlas never asks for your password, reads your private messages, or changes your profile through the standard connection.
You can disconnect your account at any time, although doing so may limit your access to certain programs or features.
4. Content & Publishing
You remain the owner of your original content.
Atlas and participating brands may help draft, edit, review, and schedule content. Material changes to your content require your approval.
Depending on your publishing preferences, approved posts may be published automatically through Atlas.
By accepting a program, you grant Atlas and the sponsoring brand a non-exclusive license to publish, display, and promote approved content for the purposes of that program.
Any broader usage rights must be agreed separately.
5. Paid Promotion
Brands may amplify eligible posts through LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads to increase their visibility.
Where required, your authorization will be requested before promotion.
Unless otherwise agreed, paid amplification does not automatically result in additional compensation.
6. Payments
Some programs offer compensation, while others are unpaid.
For paid programs:
- Compensation and payment conditions are defined before acceptance.
- Payments may be based on fixed fees, performance, or both.
- Payments are processed through supported payment providers.
- Any applicable platform fees or commissions will be disclosed before acceptance.
- Payments are subject to the agreed deliverables and program conditions.
Creators are responsible for their applicable taxes and payment information.
7. Your Responsibilities
By using Atlas, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information and create authentic content.
- Respect accepted program commitments and deadlines.
- Follow applicable advertising disclosure requirements.
- Respect intellectual property rights and LinkedIn policies.
Your participation does not create an employment relationship with Atlas. Any existing relationship with a participating brand remains separate.
8. Privacy & Security
Atlas uses account information and content performance data to manage programs, verify deliverables, report results, and facilitate payments.
Relevant campaign data may be shared with participating brands.
Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Atlas takes reasonable measures to protect your account and information.
9. Leaving Atlas
You can stop using Atlas and request account closure at any time.
Atlas may suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, or serious violations of these Terms.
Leaving Atlas does not automatically cancel existing program commitments, outstanding payments, or previously agreed content usage rights.
10. Legal Terms
Atlas provides tools for content collaboration but does not guarantee program invitations, earnings, content performance, or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by law, Atlas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Mandatory legal protections remain unaffected.
These Terms may be updated, with notice of material changes where required.
These Terms are governed by French law. Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, disputes fall under the competent courts of Paris, France.
11. Acceptance
By creating an Atlas account, you accept these Creator Terms.
By joining a program, you also accept its specific conditions, including any applicable compensation, deliverables, and content usage rights.
